There are so many images from Angie’s wedding that I would love to share with you but what struck me as the most memorable part of the day was their children.  The children were such a part of Angie and Tom’s wedding ceremony and day that anyone there would tell you it wasn’t a blending of 2 souls but a mixture of 6 people coming together to create a new family unit. Here are just a few images that were taken prior to the wedding ceremony. I will post more in the coming days! Here are a couple of the boys and one of Angie as a sneak peek!

Last year we finished and delivered an album for a super fun couple, Rachel and Lathen. Many of you know that I have earned my degree in Graphic Design, but since earning that degree, I’ve been blessed with a husband and two wonderful little boys. Needless to say, I don’t always have the time to design things myself, and I think Donna’s often more busy than I am. When we are not able to do it ourselves, we look to the best for help.

We hired Red Boot Designs to take care of the layout for Rachel and Lathen’s wedding album. Their wedding was bright and playful, the images expressed it, and the Red Boot designed the perfect album to reflect their fabulous wedding.

Now Red Boot Designs has totally made our day, by putting that same album on their website as a sample. It’s a real honor, and it ROCKS!

Living in San Diego sure has it’s advantages. One is people will come and visit you here. This week has been a very fun one for me (Geri) with my childhood friend, Kelly Duke in town visiting from Florida. I think we when we were 5, and ahhhh, that was a few years ago.

We spent Wednesday night at the San Diego Wine and Culinary Center. It’s a great place that I was turned onto last year for my friend, Sarah’s bridal shower. We were surprised to find out on Wednesdays, it’s a real dog’s life there.  Wednesdays is  City Dog’s, K9 and Wine. If you’re a fan of Fidos, you’ve got to check it out.

I love what we do for a living. I know, I know, I’ve said it only about a hundred times before and you know I’ll say it again.

Markie Battaglia one of the reasons I love what we get to do. Not only is she about the easiest person to photograph, and truly as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, she’s given this business the best complement by recommending us to others. Thank you, Markie.

I (Donna) just got off the phone with Geri (if you know Geri you will know how strange that it is at 11:30 at night!) and we are totally excited to have this combined blog to share everything going on with us! I told her I had to post tonight!

If you are familiar with our lifestyles…I am the night person…she is the day person. We joke that we are truly on call 24 hours a day between the two of us. I am glad we can make a combined effort to share our work with everyone and stay on each other to stay current.  We have a lot of good things in the works and I could not be any luckier than to share this adventure with Geri and her family and friends.

I tried to post a video of a recent wedding we photographed and was not having much luck so I will have to actually read the instructions on how to do so before I get to share Angie and Tom’s amazing wedding event!

Welcome to our new blog!

Well, the move wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. Okay, that’s because I got some really great help from Danella Miller (http://www.danellamillerphotography.com/blog/). I think the blog is lovely, but so is Danella. I hope you all enjoy it too.

I know I  will be looking forward to adding posts here and keeping you all updated on everything that’s going on with the family and our work. Stay tuned.
